Coastal people are connected by wild salmon, the kinship reaches far inland and stretches around the world. Salmon lovers want to be left in peace. We won our fight to keep the Skeena estuary free of fishfarms but now we have to mobilize again.
Oil men want to pipe toxic bitumen from the tar sands in Alberta and supertanker it out from Kitimat or Prince Rupert at the mouth of the Skeena, Canada’s second largest salmon river. This isn’t happening here!
